The combination of the forces to a common thing. Collaboration&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;em&gt;Brick and Mortar&lt;/em&gt;:&lt;/strong&gt; Is necessary to mix the brick with mortar to make a solid and safe construction. The expression is related to things there are belong together. Can be the best friends for example.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;em&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Come up against a brick wall&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/em&gt;: for me is an expression for use when the things goes wrong and we think there is no exit. "We are against a brick wall"&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;em&gt;Come down on somebody like a ton of bricks&lt;/em&gt;:&lt;/strong&gt; is related to discharge the anger on somebody… pressure on somebody for something done what dislike hem/her/them.&lt;br /&gt;"Poor people who received that ton of bricks" jaja.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;em&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Drop a brick:&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/em&gt; To put a brick in a strategic part to build something. It’s use since the Stone Age. The stone was a great material because of its durability and adaptability to sculptural treatment and structures. In contrast are some disadvantages like the difficult to cut, quarry and transport that made of it an incomplete material.&lt;br /&gt;Its weakness made of the stone a good material use for beams, lintels and columns and even to roofing, but this use requires more columns.&lt;br /&gt;One of the types of stonework is the rubble which consists on broken stones of any shapes bounded in mortar. Another types are the brick, entablatures and ashlar masonry.
